ERPA Renewal & CE - top

For information on the ERPA renewal process and/or ERPA Continuing Education (CE) credit requirements please refer to Circular 230 and to Internal Revenue Service Form 8554-EP. If you have specific questions please contact the IRS at 1.313.234.1280.


Appeals Process - top

Candidates will be surveyed at the conclusion of the ERPA-Special Enrollment Examination. The survey will allow candidates the opportunity to provide both the IRS and AIRE,LLC with feedback on the examination questions or the testing experience. While your comments will be reviewed and considered, you will not receive a response to your survey comments.

Alternatively, candidates who wish to submit an appeal concerning the exam content, registration, scheduling or test administration (testing site procedures, equipment, personnel, etc.), will be asked to submit an appeal in writing. Please submit the following information and mail to the address provided below:

  • Name;
  • Candidate ID Number;
  • Examination Title;
  • Date Tested;
  • Details of Concern (including all relevant facts); and
  • Signature and Return Address.

The Appeal Committee will review the concern and provide a written response within ten business days of receipt. Faxed appeals will not be accepted, as an original signature is required on each appeal.
